USB ‘Gender Change’ connectors to integrate USB2 networking

Two new connectors have been added to Cliff Electronics’ range of XLR-Format Feedthrough Data Connectors. “Dual DC” power socket accepts 2.1 & 2.5mm plugs

Offering designers a single power socket for use in both USA and rest of the world markets, the patented “Dual DC” socket has been unveiled by Cliff Electronics. The socket will accept 2.5mm power plugs, standard in the USA, as well as the 2.1mm plugs used in all other markets. This simplifies design, purchasing and logistics as OEMs need only manufacture one standard product and purchase one standard power socket for all their needs.

Digital XLR connectors are suited for custom I/O solutions

Cliff Electronics has introduced its FT digital XLR feed-through connector series. The FT series is a complete range of audio, data, and fibre connectors that can be front or rear mounted into an industry standard 24mm XLR connector mounting hole. DC plugs & sockets prevent critical power loss

A range of latching DC plugs and sockets, which prevent critical power loss in applications such as data monitoring, emergency lighting and equipment charging, has been introduced by Cliff Electronics. Secured by a simple push and turn locking mechanism, the devices are rated for 2A at 16VDC and available in diameters of 2.1 or 2.5mm.

Latching female XLR socket targets active loudspeakers

A latching female XLR socket has been released by Cliff Electronics, expanding the company’s Airtight XLR connector range. The socket, designed for audio inputs, is fitted with an integral latch to prevent accidental disconnection by vibration or tension on the cable.
