Enclosures now suitable for touchscreen applications
Multifunction enclosures are now suitable for touchscreen applications. OKW's INTERFACE-TERMINAL can be ordered with a high quality glass panel fitted in the top to protect the touchscreen underneath. The cases are an extremely versatile range of configurable enclosures which can be used for handheld, desktop, wall or flush mounted applications by specifying different combinations of case components.
Applications for the touchscreen format include office electronics, controllers, communications, safety engineering, medical and laboratory technology, education, museums, healthcare, automation and measurement.
The touchscreen glass panels have been designed for use with the Version II base sections, either flat or high, to give designers a wider choice of internal space options. They are manufactured from clear RoHS- and REACH-compliant safety glass with an anti-reflective coating and high scratch-resistance, making them very easy to clean.
Three sizes are available: S for 5.7, 6.4 and 6.5” screens, M for 7, 7.5, 8, 8.4 and 8.5” screens and L for 8.4, 9 and 10.4” screens. Each assembly includes the glass panel, mounting frame and adhesive foil.
OKW can supply the enclosures fully customised with CNC milling and drilling, digital, silk screen or tampo printing of legends and logos, lacquering and water transfer printing, special materials such as antimicrobial plastic and Biograde bioplastic, EMC shielding, keypads and assembly.
