TI appoint Vice President of Talent Management for Human Resources

Texas Instruments has today revealed that Samantha Dwinell has been elected vice president. As vice president of talent management for human resources, Dwinell will lead TI’s global talent management function and ensure the company is attracting and developing a diverse, capable workforce that is committed to helping TI flourish.

“Sam brings a breadth of knowledge and experience to this role from her previous positions within human resources,” said Darla Whitaker, senior vice president of human resources. “Her keen judgment, strong leadership and commitment to delivering results are invaluable to helping us attract, retain and develop the best and brightest.”

Dwinell joined TI in 2000 and has held several positions within human resources, most recently as director of recruiting and development. She has also held director positions in human resources for the wireless business unit and for Texas Instruments France.

Dwinell earned a Bachelor’s degree in economics and sociology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio; a Master’s degree in human resources and industrial relations from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois; and a Master’s degree in organizational behavior from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois.
