DC/DC Converter Modules From Powersolve Are EN50155 Approved

Powersolve just announced the TEP 200WIR Series of high performance DC/DC converter modules that provide up to 240W. Approval to EN50155 allows the new converters to be used in railway applications while an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range (Up to 160VDC), efficiency levels to 91% and adjustable output voltages also make the new converters suitable for a wide range of applications.

There are 15 models in the range with output voltages ranging from 12 to 48VDC and they can be chassis or DIN-Rail mounted with an optional adapter making them ideal for use in industrial environments. Connection is by screw terminals.

Housed in a shielded metal case with an aluminium baseplate, the converters are suitable for temperatures of -40°C to +75°C with an optional heatsink.

Manufactured by Traco, TEP200WIR converters meet the EMI requirements of EN 55022 Class A/B and feature input under- voltage lockout, reverse input and over temperature protection as well as thermal shutdown and remote on/off. I/O isolation is 2250VDC.

• Efficiency levels to 91%
• Chassis Mount with DIN-Rail Option
