Advantech gets gold award from VDC Research

Advantech, a specialist in Internet of Things (IoT), has been recognised for its excellence in quality and service provision with a global industry award. Advantech has received VDC Research’s Gold Award for IoT & Embedded Technology Vendor Satisfaction in the Boards & Modules and Systems & Servers categories.

These annual awards are based on vendor satisfaction ratings from VDC Research’s global IoT and Edge Engineering & Development Survey.

Respondents to this survey included more than 700 chief technology officers (CTOs), engineering and product managers, hardware engineers, and software developers from leading OEMs, systems integrators, engineering services companies, and other organisations. They were asked to rate vendors from which they had purchased merchant computing hardware in their most recent project.

Jash Bansidhar, Managing Director of Advantech Europe and AVP of Industrial IoT sector, explained: “Recognition through these awards is highly prestigious as they are based on independent, confidential feedback from the people who specify and purchase our systems for their projects. We strive to deliver satisfaction in all areas of our service delivery and are delighted that customers globally are recognising the quality of our offer.”
