Faster, easier PCBs ordering via Drag & Drop

The prototype specialist and PCB manufacturer Beta LAYOUT has simplified the online ordering process for printed circuit boards. The redesigned PCB-POOL online calculator now allows the direct data upload of a PCB design via Drag & Drop in several native file formats. Current accepted files formats include Altium Designer, EAGLE, Target 3001!, KiCad and Gerber X2.

During the file upload, all the PCB file details are automatically transferred and the price is instantly calculated. For the user, this means time is saved when ordering PCBs. In addition, the PCB design and stencil data images are visualised and where possible the entire PCB assembly is rendered as a 3D view.

Upon request, the 3D data file is available for free download. These can be used for collision checks and for documentation purposes. Interested parties can also order a 3D printed model of their assembled PCB.
