Power inductors handle automotive temperatures, stresses

The HCMA Series of high current power inductors are now available from TTI in Europe. The products are designed to withstand temperature and shock stresses found in automotive applications to support greater reliability in electronics for Advanced Drive Assistance Systems (ADAS), vehicle control, body control, lighting, infotainment, cluster controls, heating and air conditioning, chassis and safety systems.

Benefitting from iron powder core material and AEC-Q200 grade 3 qualified, the power inductors come in various sizes from 5mm x 5mm up to 17mm x 17mm footprints and feature high current carrying capacity, low core losses, and low EMI.

Magnetically shielded, halogen and lead free, as well as fully RoHS compliant, the components have an operating temperature range of -55°C up to +125°C (ambient + self-temperature rise).
