Fanless SFF industrial computer outperforms its predecessor

The launch of the LEC-7230-CT1, a fanless SFF industrial computer powered by the Intel Celeron J1900 (codenamed Bay Trail) processor, known for its significant improvement in performance and power-efficiency has been announced by Lanner. Benchmark testing conducted for computing performance and power efficiency found that the Intel Celeron J1900 outperforms its predecessor (Intel Atom N2800) by 310% while maintaining the same level of power usage.

In addition to the powerful and nimble J1900 quad-core processor, the compact and fanlessLEC-7230-CT1 supports up to 8GB of low-powered DDR3L memory and comes with a rich I/O interface that includes Intel Integrated Graphics, VGA (1600×1200), HDMI (1920×1080), dual 100/1000Mb/s Ethernet ports, dual RS-232/422/485 serial ports, five USB 2.0 port, USB 3.0 port and a full-sized mini-PCIe slot with SIM card reader.

The LEC-7230-CT1, with its 0-55°C wide operating temperature range, is positioned as an all-in-one, one-for-all solution for a wide range of deployment scenarios such as production line automation, surveillance NVR, home gateway, digital signage and retail POS.

Other SFF box PCs included in the LEC-7230 series are the LEC-7230, the LEC-7230L and the LEC-7230M.
