Bias-Ts can handle multiple 20kA (8/20μs) lighting strikes

Designed for installation close to base receiving stations or near to the antenna, the 3410.41.0038 and 3410.41.0039 Bias-Ts have been introduced by HUBER+SUHNER. The devices, which cover the full 690 to 2700MHz LTE bandwidth, inject or extract DC power into or out of a coaxial cable with the appropriate DC voltage and current. As well as LTE installations, the Bias-Ts support GSM and UMTS cellular installations.

Featuring built-in lightning protection, the 3410.41.0038 and 3410.41.0039 offer stable RF performance even after multiple 20kA (8/20μs) strikes or a single 30kA (8/20μs) strike. The devices, which are designed to operate with a DC supply of up to 48V at a maximum current of 3.5A, can handle up to 500W RF CW power. Housed in sucoplated brass, the Bias-Ts are IP67 rated and operate across a temperature range of -40 to +85⁰C.
