Thermal jumpers from Stackpole lower PCB temperatures

Designers of power supplies for AI servers face considerable thermal challenges. Due to space limitations in AI server rooms, many methods for reducing heat are either impractical, complicated to implement, or costly.

Thermal jumpers present a compact and cost-effective solution for lowering PCB temperatures, with the added benefit of straightforward installation.

Stackpole’s TMJ series features a surface-mounted, electrically isolated component that offers excellent thermal conductivity, coupled with low capacitance and high insulation resistance between terminals. The TMJ uses an aluminium nitride substrate, providing thermal conductivity of up to 216 mW/°C while maintaining electrical isolation for components that require it.

Pricing for the TMJ series varies based on size and tolerance, ranging from $0.35 to $0.90 per unit in bulk quantities. For volume pricing, customers should reach out to Stackpole or its authorised distribution partners.
