Cincoze launches two new compact embedded computers

Cincoze has recently expanded its DIAMOND Rugged Computing product line with the introduction of two new compact embedded computers.

The DA-1200 emerges as a versatile, palm-sized option that has been a customer favourite for its affordability and adaptability to various industry applications. Its latest upgrade enhances its appeal, ensuring it continues to be a preferred option. The DV-1100 is tailored for environments requiring high-performance computing but facing spatial constraints, such as smart manufacturing and railway computing, thanks to its support for the 13th/12th generation Intel Core CPUs.

The DA-1200 boasts an Intel Alder Lake-N processor with 12W ultra-low power consumption and supports up to 16GB DDR5 4800 MHz memory. It features two M.2 Key B slots, adaptable to M.2 Key E with an additional adapter card, addressing a broad spectrum of wireless communication and storage needs with options including 2.5″ SSD and M.2 SSD. Its compact dimensions of 150 x 105 x 52.3mm encapsulate significant application versatility in a small form.

Installation and maintenance of the DA-1200 are straightforward, offering wall mount, side mount, and DIN-rail mounting possibilities. It enhances user convenience with easily accessible front-panel features such as the reset switch, AT/ATX switch, and SIM card slot. As an entry-level model, it retains the rugged characteristics of Cincoze’s industrial computer lineup, operating efficiently across a broad temperature range (-40 to 70°C) and voltage range (9 to 48V), and meets the US military’s MIL-STD-810H standard for shock and vibration resistance, along with the EMC standards EN IEC 61000-6-2 and EN IEC 61000-6-4 for industrial settings.

The DV-1100 caters to high-performance needs with support for the latest 13th/12th generation Intel Core CPUs, up to 32GB DDR5 4800MHz memory, and high-speed NVMe SSD storage. Despite its compact size of 224.1 x 162 x 62mm, it does not compromise on connectivity, supporting 2.5G LAN and 10G USB3.2 Gen2x1, making it an ideal solution for high-speed, space-efficient industrial applications. It is equipped with M.2 Key B and Key E slots, and additional I/O and IGN functions can be integrated using Cincoze’s exclusive CMI and CFM modules.

The DV-1100 adheres to several industry standards and certifications, including EN 50155 for railway computing, MIL-STD-810H for shock and vibration resistance, and EN IEC 61000-6-2 and EN IEC 61000-6-4 for EMC in industrial environments. Cincoze subjects the entire DIAMOND series, including the DV-1100, to rigorous testing, such as four cold starts at -40°C over 17 hours, pushing the boundaries of industry standards and guaranteeing reliable operation in extreme conditions.
