Design and fabrication of optical waveguides

LASER COMPONENTS is set to showcase a series of technological innovations at the SPIE LASE conference during Photonics West.

Thierno-Mamoudou Diallo, an expert in Opto-Electronics and III-V Semiconductors at LASER COMPONENTS Canada, will lead the presentation on January 28th at 10:00am PST.

Thierno and his team have made progress in developing high-power laser diodes for LiDAR (light detection and ranging) applications. Their latest work includes triple junction 905nm lasers, designed with optimised mode profiles and an advanced confinement structure, enabling significantly higher power densities.
