The AMD Ryzen AI Embedded P100 Series processors feature up to 12 cores and 24 threads, all based on the latest ‘Zen 5’ core architecture. They support the AVX-512 instruction set, including VNNI and BFLOAT16, delivering high compute density and broad software compatibility for demanding Edge applications. Integrated AMD RDNA graphics leveraging the AMD ROCm software ecosystem can support up to four 4K at 120Hz displays with a hardware codec accelerator. This enables advanced visualisation for machine vision and interactive human-machine interface (HMI) applications. Combined with the new AMD XDNA 2 NPU architecture, the platform offers a total of up to 80 total system TOPS of AI inference acceleration. This heterogeneous architecture streamlines the management of complex AI workloads, delivering optimal performance, low latency, and power efficiency under both Windows and Linux development environments. With support for DDR5-5600 memory up to 128 GB, PCIe Gen 4 x8, NVMe, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, and USB4, these processors provide excellent scalability and flexibility. Comprehensive Edge AI portfolio for diverse applications
Advantech offers a complete portfolio of Ryzen AI Embedded P100 Series processors for diverse EIoT applications. The 3.5″ MIO-5380 single board computer combines a compact, rugged design with an extension module (MIOe series), supporting external GPUs via MXM, extra LAN ports with PoE, and PCIe expansion through the MCIO connector, while Edge BMC enables out-of-band remote management even if the OS is unresponsive. Building on this flexibility, the SOM-6874 COM Express Compact Type 6 module supports up to 18 PCIe lanes and multiple I/Os including 2.5GbE and USB 3.2, with a QFCS thermal design that prevents throttling up to 60°C and carrier board references to accelerate application development. For larger-scale integration, the AIMB-2211 Mini-ITX motherboard adds robust connectivity with four independent 4K displays, seven USB ports plus one USB Type-C with optional 100W, a PCIe 4.0 x8 slot, one M.2 NVMe slots, and wide-voltage 12–24V DC input, simplifying deployment in compact systems.

The AMD Ryzen AI Embedded P100 Series processor boards are validated with Windows 11 LTSC and Ubuntu LTSC and are complemented by a suite of value-added software to accelerate development and deployment. To streamline AI application development, Advantech Edge AI SDK provides a cross-platform toolkit that leverages AMD Ryzen AI processor capabilities, enabling efficient deployment of pre-trained models and faster time-to-market. In parallel, Advantech DeviceOn serves as an intelligent device management platform, offering remote monitoring, predictive maintenance, and centralised control to simplify large-scale Edge AI operations.
