Machine vision lasers

LASER COMPONENTS continues to see strong demand for its range of machine vision lasers, comprising of ten laser options all with varying combinations of line thickness and depth of focus for each application.

Starting with the smallest machine vision laser in the world the MVfemto and going up to the MVSquare, our MV range can accommodate many types of requirements.

LASER COMPONENTS plans to increase the output power for the machine vision (MV) lasers over the next few years. In the case of the MVpulse work is currently ongoing to design a pulsed wave laser operating with a 1W output power. The pulsed wave will be used to try and keep the temperature and heat as low as possible to increase efficiency.

The company says that it plans to improve the output power to one watt in other continous MV lasers.

Laser modules have to fulfill special requirements in industrial image processing. Line lasers with a homogeneous power distribution are generally used in metrology, but high-power laser designs and special housings are also in demand in industrial image processing.
