German distributor Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente has expanded its semiconductor portfolio with the addition of the LV series bridge rectifiers from Taiwanese manufacturer PANJIT, targeting high-performance and energy-efficient applications across computing, industrial, and household sectors.

The new LV series, housed in the industry-standard GBU-2 package, offers a current capability of up to 25 A and supports operating junction temperatures of up to 150 °C.

Designed for improved energy efficiency, the devices feature a low forward voltage (VF) to minimise conduction losses, and are suitable for use in server and computer power supplies, gaming consoles, air-conditioning systems, and other high-performance power boards.

Rutronik said the LV series combines compact design and strong thermal performance, providing a stable and cost-effective solution for general-purpose rectification in demanding environments. The components are also lead- and halogen-free, complying with EU RoHS 2.0 and IEC 61249 standards.

Last year Rutronik added PANJIT’s ultra-low VF bridge rectifier series GBJ and GBU to its product range.
