HARTING has launched a new version of its D-Sub connector featuring a PushPull locking mechanism designed to simplify installation and improve process reliability.

The D-Sub PushPull eliminates the need for traditional fixing screws, replacing them with a latch system that securely attaches to fixing bolts. The company says the design can reduce assembly and maintenance time while enabling straightforward upgrades of existing connector variants.

The connector supports cable diameters up to 14mm and offers up to three cable entries. Versions are available in both plastic and metallised plastic housings and in sizes 09, 15, and 25. It meets IEC 61373 standards for shock and vibration resistance and is compatible with HARTING’s coding system, allowing for up to 36 configuration options.

HARTING says the new connector is suited to industrial applications where durability and reliability are essential, including automation, transport, and machinery.

By removing the need for screws and tools, the company claims the D-Sub PushPull can help users streamline operations, cut downtime, and improve productivity.
