With the new ALV70 series by KEMET, a YAGEO brand, Rutronik is expanding its portfolio of aluminium electrolytic capacitors for high-voltage applications. The snap-in capacitors are designed for voltages up to 750 VDC, offer a capacitance of up to 270μF and can withstand currents of up to 1.66A at 105 °C / 100 Hz. This means they can be reliably loaded even at high temperatures and can efficiently cope with the alternating currents caused by ripple – a decisive advantage for applications with strong pulse currents such as in inverters or motor controls. A service life of 2,000 hours at +85 °C under nominal voltage and current also ensures maximum reliability in energy – and industry-critical applications.

Thanks to various housing sizes and pin configurations, the ALV70 capacitors can be flexibly integrated into designs. They are characterised by excellent heat dissipation, high ripple current capability and a robust design. This makes them the ideal choice for developers who require reliable and durable solutions.

Additional safety is provided by a PET sleeve and a Lexan disc, which are recognised as flame-retardant and standard-compliant materials according to UL QMTR2 (UL No. E358957).

Benefits at a glance:
