Switch works as both a safety and a double-throw switch

A fused disconnect double-throw switch, which works as both a safety switch and a double-throw switch for a generator, has been introduced by Ronk. The all-in-one switch is, therefore, a cost-effective option for single-phase switching. According to the company, the switch’s load break has a unique design and will not fail due to fouling.

Several features typically considered add-ons, such as a neutral bar for service equipment, an NEMA 3R all-aluminium enclosure and class T fuses, are offered with the switch as standard.

Tom Giordano, National Sales and Marketing Manager, Ronk commented: “This addition to Ronk’s broad portfolio is truly an industry game changer. It gives customers everything they need for single-phase switching in one box: reliability, simplicity, economy, and safety. It looks better, lasts longer, and costs less…no more overpaying.”
