The VS series is offered in three sizes/configurations. The 1010VS measures 10.0×10.0mm, with a maximum height of 6.10 mm. It is available with five inductance values of 23.5-146nH, current ratings up to 26.0A, and Q factors as high as 150. The 1212VS measures 12.0×11.5mm with a maximum height of 11.3mm. It’s offered with five inductance values in the range of 22.2-117nH, current ratings up to 57.0A and Q factors as high as 200. The 2014VS measures 19.56×13.6mm with a maximum height of 11.4mm. It’s available with six inductance values of 33-257nH, current ratings up to 43.0A and Q factors as high as 230.
All VS Series air core inductors feature RoHS compliant tin-silver over copper terminations and offer a maximum reflow temperature of 260°C. COTS Plus tin-lead terminations are also available.
Coilcraft also offers the C456 Designer’s Kit which contains five samples of each inductance value offered for all three series (16 values in total).
