Coils simplify assembly with self-adhesive film

Characterized by a self-adhesive film on the back, 3 wireless power charging coils have been added to Würth Elektronik’s exisiting range of power transfer coils.

The self-adhesive film on the back of the coils gives a distinct advantage over competitors’ components, due to making assembly much easier for the user. The company claims that the coils are unique, with 1mm flexible ferrite shielding making the device suitable for the suppression of interference above 1MHz. Boasting a high Q-factor and low DC resistance, the devices have been recommended for maximum efficiency power transfer of up to 5W.

Approved and evaluated  with chipsets from Texas Instruments, the coils are Qi compliant and answer the current demands for space-saving charging solutions.
