ZTEC Instruments Vice-President Tapped to Board of Directors for VXI Consortium

ZTEC Instruments the leader in modular oscilloscopes and waveform generators, announced today that their Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Gary Tilley, will now serve on the Board of Directors for the VXI Bus Consortium.

The VXI Consortium exists to provide a common ground organization dedicated to the success, longevity and existence of the VXI bus platform. The four main benefits of the VXIbus continue to be the basis for the success of the platform today: The VXIbus was well conceived by leading test and measurement companies to solve the most demanding test applications. The VXIbus is established. It has a 23-year history of success and continues to be the leading modular instrument test platform for large A/D programs. The VXIbus is time tested, providing systems designers with security in the knowledge that their test platform will outlive the device being tested. The VXIbus is thriving and has proven that it has the flexibility to evolve with the development of new technologies.

“The VXI bus platform has a long history of providing a stable yet growing architecture, says Tilley. “Those customers who use the VXIbus have a great deal invested. It’s paramount to them that investment is ensured to provide long term return. I’m honored to be in a position of guidance for that investment.”
