High Amperage Power Jacks And Plugs With IP68 Option

Connector specialist Switchcraft has launched a range of higher current power jacks and plugs that are rated to 11A and 24VDC. This new range contains power jacks with through-hole or surface mount terminations and cord plugs that have the option of locking on to the power jack.

A further feature is the option of IP68 sealing when the plug and jack are mated.

Stephen Waldron, Switchcraft’s Director of International Sales, added: ‘Our existing line of power jacks and plugs is extremely popular and these new products have been developed and introduced to meet market demand for increased power capability in portable equipment connectors.’
