VR adventure dives deep into the ocean

If you’ve always enjoyed imagining what goes on underwater while you’re crossing the Channel with Eurostar, wonder no more. The high speed train service that directly links the UK to France and Belgium now offers a virtual reality adventure for its passengers.

Travellers simply need a smartphone or tablet to be immersed in the VR experience. Explore the HMS Victory, meet an eclectic mix of sea life and discover some tunnel trivia.

At its deepest, the Channel Tunnel is 75m under water. The tunnel is about 50km long – the equivalent of nearly 170 Eiffel Towers stacked on top of each other. Trains speeding underwater to Paris and Brussels are only below the Channel for about 20 minutes.
