OsCAR light can be extended to support multicontour seat tests as well as structure-borne sound analyses, pneumatics tests, inspection of optical characteristics or testing of architectural equipment for double-seats.
The test system provides a fast and simple parameterisation of components in car seats. Users will be able to generate test programs and implement preconfigurations with little prior experience. Each seat’s data are entered into the test system software whereupon the seat type is automatically identified.
GOEPEL electronic’s seat tester can also be utilised offline to either execute programming and parameterisation tasks, or to simulate test runs and compare the results with real tests at a later point in time.
The parallel test of installed electronic control units (ECU) is a critical application issue for seat testers as time is money, and the shorter the test time the shorter the cycle time in the seats‘ final assembly. Running tests in parallel also has great economic importance. Compared to sequential test runs, the number of required test systems in production can be minimized, which leads to test time and test cost optimizations.
