Featured at Electronica will be Intepro’s latest I9500 power supply test system, its first LXI-based power supply test system which packs all the features commercial OEM’s need in one single-bay cabinet. The I9500LXI is a fully featured automated test system that specifically addresses the growing market for AC-DC and DC-DC power converters under 1000 Watts, including those for mobile phones, digital music and video players and most computer accessories.
Also on view for the first time will be their recently introduced aircraft battery tester. Cyclic charge and discharge of Lithium Ion batteries is critical for the safe and reliable operation of these batteries, especially when used in fail-safe installations in aircraft. The Intepro aircraft battery test system has been primarily designed to test batteries by performing charge and discharge cycles while monitoring in real time key battery parameters including, overall battery voltage, individual cell voltage and internal temperature (to prevent thermal runaway). The system may be supplied as single or dual modules for test cycling one or two batteries. Test results may be logged for future analysis and the system can also perform data transmission and interrogation of intelligent systems.
Intepro’s feature rich PowerStar 5 ATE test software will also be on show. PowerStar5 is extremely versatile and can be used for functional power supply testing, burn-in and reliability testing. PowerStar 5 is a very comprehensive software package with designed for ease of use. Just some of the features include drag and drop programming, pre-defined test libraries, the facility to generate new tests with ease and test result reporting and storage for traceability.
