Anritsu’s test platform re-defines terminal protocol analysis

With companies looking for even greater efficiencies, the need to re-use not only hardware but software components is essential. Enormous investments in legacy systems cannot be disposed of so the ME7834 Mobile Device Test Platform provides the most flexible way to combine existing and new components. As well as integrating the leading LTE development and proving tools, the ME7834 supports many popular formats including HSPAEvo, UTRAN, GERAN and cdma2000. The platform can be configured to include protocol conformance testing as well as acceptance tests for a number of carriers as well as development. A choice of formal TTCN or the innovative RTD graphical flow chart languages can be combined with internal test sequencers and automation. New ME7834 systems can be delivered fully configured and commissioned.

The ME7834 is ready to support the recent LTE launches in North America with configurations for carrier acceptance programs as well as the ongoing refinement of terminal designs. The ME7834 is now specified by GCF and PTCRB as Test Platform TP119 for Conformance testing to TS 36.523 as well as TS 34.123.3.

The ME7834 will be making its public debut in two configurations at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona from 14th February 2011 in hall 1 stand 1B31.
