Motor drive analysers leverage oscilloscope platform
The MDA 8000HD Motor Drive Analysers launched today (October 1) by Teledyne LeCroy leverage the WaveRunner 8000HD High Definition Oscilloscope (HDO) platform of eight analogue channels, 12-bit vertical resolution at all times, up to 5 Gigapoints of acquisition memory (1.25 Gigapoints on all eight channels), 10 GS/s sample rate, and bandwidths up to 2GHz.
Test system speeds up C-V2X communication
The S.E.A. C-V2X Open Loop Test System from NI leverages 5G wireless cellular technology to provide high bandwidth and low latency communication for Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) communications.
Modular solution tests the brains of autonomous vehicles
A solution to test the computing platform for autonomous vehicles (AVs) has been released by NI. AVs are complex systems to test. At the heart of the AV is a powerful computing platform that analyses the environment around the vehicle and determines the appropriate action to help ensure the safety of the car and its surroundings.
EuMW 2019: Wizard ready to perform VNA magic in Paris
Ready to be unveiled at European Microwave Week in Paris (October 1-3), Pico Technology has unveiled a new PicoVNA Interface Wizard, which adds significant functionality and value to the company’s low-cost, high-performance vector network analyser (VNA).
Secure hospital data centre paves way for networked healthcare
A hospital is a complex system: Data is often needed very quickly or has to be passed on quite fast. In order to create an expedient network for all parties involved, data must be collected, processed and stored. Various administrative tasks and treatment processes are teamwork, in which the patients themselves as well as doctors, medical staff, but also externals such as pharmacies, health insurances and outpatient physicians must be included.&n...
Portable spectrum analysers address mmWave applications
Extended broadband frequency coverage from 9kHz – 170GHz is now available on Anritsu’s Spectrum Master MS2760A ultraportable spectrum analyser series. The company has also introduced a new series of higher sensitivity models – the Spectrum Master MS2762A - with coverage from 6GHz to 170GHz for demanding sensitivity requirements.
Test solution meets IEEE 802.3cg 10BASE-T1S standard
The flexibility of Automotive Ethernet makes the simple twisted-pair network technology ideal for an ever-increasing range of in-vehicle networks. With that in mind Rohde & Schwarz has introduced the first 10BASE-T1S compliance test available, for the R&S RTO and R&S RTP oscilloscopes, which will provide fully automated testing conforming to the current version of IEEE 802.3cg 10BASE-T1S interfaces.
Mixed mode option for digitisers and AWGs
Spectrum Instrumentation has released an optional module for its latest range of 16-bit digitisers and AWGs that adds 16 synchronous digital lines to the analogue data. The additional digital lines extend the four multi-purpose XIO lines that are already standard on these digitiser and AWG cards.
Upgrade enables 5G NR fading tests on one instrument
Upgraded 5G Protocol Test functions have been added to Anritsu’s MT8000A Radio Communication Test Station. The upgrade uses NR (New Radio) Fading software when implementing built-in baseband fading tests, making the MT8000A to provide support for 3GPP TS 38.521-4 B.1/B.2 V15.0.0-compliant 5G NR channel (TDL) model tests using NR Fading software implementing built-in baseband fading tests.
Keysight racks up PTCRB 5G NR test approvals
5G network emulation solutions from Keysight Technologies support the greatest number of 5G new radio (NR) test cases approved by PTCRB, enabling mobile device makers to efficiently accelerate 5G device certification.
