Ultra-accurate temperature and humidity sensing

Authorised distributor Mouser Electronics is now shipping the ENS21x digital humidity and temperature sensors from ScioSense.

The sensors provide ultra-accurate sensing, including temperature measurements accurate to ±0.1°C and relative humidity measurements accurate to ±0.8%RH.

Measurements are tailored to the needs of building automation, smart homes, instrumentation, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices, among other applications.

The sensors offer a wide sensing range, accurately measuring temperatures from -40ºC to 125ºC and relative humidity from 0% to 100%.

They are ideal for energy-critical designs, automatically entering low-power standby mode when inactive, with a standby current of just 40nA.

In addition, the sensors feature an I2C interface for efficient communication with an external host processor.

A compact 2.0 mm2 × 0.75 mm QFN4 package, allows for easy integration into wearables, mobile technology, and other space-constrained devices.

The ENS21x sensors come with pre-calibrated Kelvin and relative humidity outputs, enabling precise readings from the first use.
