Powertrain position sensors integrated circuits and designs
Texas Instruments has introduced powertrain position sensors integrated circuits and designs. The Powertrain sensors specific to HEV/EV systems include: Current sense – based on type of system shunt/hall/flux based current sensors are used in HEV/EV; Temperature sensors – Battery temperature, IGBT, e-machine/motor temperature etc. Remote temperature sensors are used for certain applications; Position Sensor – Motor position sensor such as resolvers are used.
