FMCW transceiver in stock at Mouser

The AWR2243 frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) transceiver from Texas Instruments (TI) is in stock at distributor Mouser Electronics.

The TI AWR2243 FMCW transceiver is a self-contained, single-chip solution that simplifies the implementation of automotive radar sensors in the 76 GHz to 81 GHz frequency band.

It offers high levels of integration in a minimal form factor.

Based on TI’s low-power 45nm RFCMOS process, the transceiver enables a monolithic implementation of a 3TX, 4RX system with built-in PLL and analogue-to-digital converters.

Simple programming model changes can allow a wide variety of sensor implementation (short, mid, long) with the possibility of dynamic reconfiguration for enabling a multimode sensor.

The AWR2243 transceiver is provided as a complete platform solution, including an available reference hardware design, software drivers, sample configurations, an API guide, and user documentation.

It is ideal for low power, self-monitored, ultra-accurate radar systems in the automotive space.
