Hamamatsu Photonics Driver Circuit for InGaAs Linear Image Sensors

Hamamatsu Photonics introduce the new C10820 InGaAs linear image sensor driver board. Designed to control the G9494 high speed image sensor series, the C10820 features simple operation through its CameraLink interface, and requires only digital inputs for the start and clock pulses. Additionally, just +5V and +15V supply voltages are needed for the pulse generator and power supply respectively.

The C10820 also features a high gain setting for demanding low light level imaging, and its compact size allows for easy integration into existing systems.

Combined with the G9494 series of InGaAs linear image sensors, with their high speed operation and high sensitivity in the 1µm to 1.5µm region, the C10820 allows for an imaging system that can be used in a wide range of applications. These include solar cell evaluation, foreign object detection, near infrared spectroscopy and many more.
