The IIS2DULPX digital 3-axis linear accelerometer from STMicroelectronics is in stock at authorised distributor Mouser Electronics.

This linear accelerometer is a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) with a dedicated high-g accelerometer for intensity impact and shock detection.

It has features of a finite state machine (FSM), always-on antialiasing filtering, and a machine learning core (MLC) with an analog hub/Qvar sensing channel and adaptive self-configuration (ASC). The FSM and MLC with ASC deliver outstanding, always-on, edge processing capabilities to the IIS2DULPX.

The analogue hub/Qvar sensing channel defines a new degree of system optimization.

A target embedded 128-level FIFO buffer and interface complete a set of features that make this accelerometer a reference in terms of system integration from the standpoint of the bill of materials, processing, or power consumption.

Applications cover industrial IoT and factory automation, asset tracking, portable healthcare devices and hearing aids, anti-tampering devices, wireless sensor nodes, appliances and robotics, and motion-activated functions for wearables.
