Like the new “XS” and “US” Series before them, the “V” Series and “M” Series herald UltraVolt’s entrance into the microsize/micropower realm. These lines represent a stark difference from UltraVolt’s previous product line, specifically due to their small size and lower power output. However, these microsize series continue UltraVolt’s standard of high reliability and high performance. The “V” Series and “M” Series offer low ripple, tight tolerances, self-restoring output voltage, voltage monitors, and arc and continuous short-circuit protection. The new series is an ideal solution for design engineers requiring bias voltage in applications such as avalanche photo diodes (APD) and photomultiplier tubes (PMT).
The volume for the “V” Series is just 0.84in³ [13.8cc] and the volume for the “M” Series is 1.045in³ [16.45cc], which represents sizes up to 75% smaller than the “AA” Series, the smallest power supply in the UltraVolt line before the advent of its microsize/micropower lines. Output voltages for these new lines range from 0 to 600V through 0 to 1500V, at up to 1W output power, with output current ranges from 300µA to 1mA.

“UltraVolt is excited to continue to introduce products in the microsize, micropower field of high-voltage,” said James Morrison, CEO and Co-Founder. “We are committed to Making High Voltage Easier® and these new product offerings to customers worldwide will achieve this promise.”
