The converters are available in two versions: Low profile DIL-16 package for thru-hole mounting, or in a SMD package (TES- 2N series) which is qualified for a lead free reflow solder process with temperatures up to 245°C/10sec.
Produced by leading power specialist Tracopower, the new series comprises 28 models available with wide input ranges of 4.5 to 9.0VDC, 9 to18VDC, 18 to 36VDC and 36 to 75VDC .
Regulated output voltages of 3.3, 5.0, 12.0, 15.0, ±5, ±12 and ±15VDC are available as standard. The operating temperature range is specified for –25°C to +70°C without derating .
Other features include short-circuit protection, 1500VDC I/O-isolation and input filtering to meet EN 55022, level A without any external components.
With their ultra-compact dimensions, these converters provide a new solution for many space-critical applications in industrial and consumer electronics.
