Tumbler Technologies + TRUMPower introduces the TMP180 series of medical grade AC/DC desktop power adapters, which has both class I and class II insulation. Offering high power of 180W, the TMP180 series is an addition to the TMP150 series of 150W class I and class II medical power adapters that the company has.
The TMP180 class II units, furnished with an IEC 320/C8 AC inlet without a ground pin, are doubly insulated to provide proper safety protection where the availability and integrity of an earth cannot be guaranteed. Class I units come with an IEC 320/C14 AC inlet that has a ground pin.

The TMP180 series is approved to UL 60601-1, CSA C22.2 No. 601.1, EN 60601-1 medical standards and complies with EN60601-1-2 EMI standards including EN55011/FCC/VCCI class B (conducted and radiated emissions), EN61000-3-2, EN61000-4-2, EN61000-4-3, EN61000-4-5, EN61000-4-11. The earth leakage current is 300 µA maximum @ 264 VAC, 60 Hz. With standby power consumption lower than 0.5W and efficiency higher than 87%, the units are in compliance with CEC and Energy Star efficiency level V requirements. They also comply with RoHS requirements.

The TMP180 series offers standard single output voltages of 19V, 24V or 28V with continuous output power of up to 180W. Non-standard output voltages are available upon request. The units come with a 4-pin power DIN plug as the standard output connector. TRUMPower offers many other connector options and can accommodate special requirements.

The series has a 90 to 264 VAC continuous input range with 0.95 power factor. The withstand voltage is 2000VAC from input to output. The units can operate from 0°C to +40°C and can be stored at -20°C to +80°C. The MTBF is higher than 100,000 hours at full load and 25°C ambient per MIL-HDBK-217F. Output protections include short-circuit, overpower, and over temperature.
