The LS50, LS75 and LS100 are 88 to 264Vac input, while the LS150 models are switch selectable for 115 or 230Vac thus minimising cost. All LS units withstand a 300Vac surge for five seconds minimum.
Standard output voltages range from 3.3 to 48Vdc, delivering currents up to 30A. To accommodate non-standard system voltages, the LS Series is user adjustable by ±10%. Models within the LS Series are up to 4% more efficient than similar products available on the market. The 50W LS50-24 model, for instance, achieves a typical efficiency of 86%.
Offered with an extended operating temperature range, the LS Series provides full power from -25 to +50°C and can still deliver up to 70% power at 70°C depending on the chosen model. Overcurrent and overvoltage protection are standard features, as is a power on signal.
As well as being EN55011/EN55022 and FCC compliant (achieving class B conducted and radiated emissions), Lambda’s new series meets UL/EN/IEC 60950-1 safety approvals and carries the CE mark. All models meet EN61000-3-2, 3 harmonic correction standards. With a MTBF of over 600k hours, per MIL-HDBK-217F (25°C) standard, Lambda’s LS Series comes with a three-year warranty.
