The plug-in power supply has a built-in redundancy diode for parallel connection or N+1 redundant operation. It includes a module fail alarm with an optocoupler output. The module measures 6U x 16HP x 304 mm and is typically used in 19” rack-mount applications. The front panel of the module has an output voltage ‘ON’ LED indicator, voltage adjustment potentiometer and test points.
The power factor is corrected to a minimum of 0.97 at full load for the entire input range in compliance with the EN6100-3-2 directive for low input harmonic distortion. The unit has input and output filtering to meet EN55022 EMI standards. Full electronic protection on the input and output eliminates the possibility of failure due to abnormal operating conditions, including application errors. Designed for heavy-duty industrial environments, the PFC 619F-EH meets IEC61371 Categories 1A&B shock and vibration standards as a minimum.
