The TMW7 switching power adapters feature 90 to 264 VAC, 47 to 63 Hz universal input in fixed or interchangeable AC plug configurations. There are 4 different types of wall plugs to meet worldwide requirements: US, EU, UK, and Australian. Structured with Class II insulation, the series delivers 4W to 7W of continuous output power and offers a wide output voltage range of 3V to 28V. The units also have a low leakage current of 100µA maximum at 264 VAC/60 Hz.
The USB port is only available on the 5V/1A output model while other output models are equipped with a 5 feet DC output cable and a barrel plug as standard. TRUMPower also offers many other connector options and can accommodate special requirements.
The wall mount adapters are fully protected against overvoltage, overload, and short-circuit conditions. The units can withstand 5,656 VDC from input to output. They have a minimum efficiency of 67% at full load with a standby power consumption less than 0.3W. The adapters can operate at an ambient temperature range of -10°C to +50°C. Derating is required from 100% at +40°C linearly to 75% at +50°C.
The units meet EMC standards that include EN55011, CISPR-11, FCC part 18 Class B. Additionally, the TMW7 power adapters are being certified by UL, CB, CE to UL 60601-1 and EN 60601-1 medical standards and are compliant with CEC level V, ErP Step 2 and RoHS standards.
