With the features of extra low quiescent current and high input voltage specifications, Holtek is delighted to announce the release of its new TinyPower ultra low quiescent current low dropout regulator series, the HT75xx-3.
This new series forms an extension to its already released HT75xx-1 device series. In comparison with the 2.5uA extra low quiescent current of the HT75xx-1 series, this new HT75xx-3 series now has a lower quiescent current of 1uA, providing significant advantages in battery life extension for portable product applications. With an output voltage accuracy of ±2% and a maximum input voltage of 30V, these enhancements to the product specification now provide product designers with even more ideal power solutions. A wide range of regulated output voltages from 2.1V to 12V are available with maximum output current values of 100mA or 150mA depending upon the voltage selected.

The devices can be used in a diverse range of portable and other applications which require high output voltage accuracy such as smart meters, motorised tools, smart security equipment, measuring instrumentation and medical products etc.

The HT75xx-3 series is a set of three-terminal low power high voltage implemented in CMOS technology. They can deliver 100mA output current and allow an input voltage as high as 30V. They are available with several fixed output voltages ranging from 2.1V to 12.0V. CMOS technology ensures low voltage drop and low quiescent current.

Although designed primarily as fixed voltage regulators, these devices can be used with external components to obtain variable voltages and currents.
