MEAN WELL has announced its LRS series of next-gen 35-350W “without PFC” enclosed power supplies, with model numbers of 35/50/75/100/150/150F/200/350. The LRS family exploits a streamlined circuit design that lowers component count, and the high degree of automation raises cost competitiveness and production yield. Compared to the former generation, the RS series, the LRS series is more efficient and further miniaturised.

The LRS series also provides low no load consumption (under 0.2 to 0.75W), 1U low profile (30mm) and the ability to operate up to 5000m. The family is compliant with various safety regulation standards- IEC/EN/UL60950-1, IEC/EN61558-1, IEC/EN61558-2-16, IEC/EN60335-1 and GB4943. The devices withstand 300VAC surge input for 5 seconds, and offer overvoltage, overload, overtemperature and short-circuit protection.

The LRS series suits industrial applications, and can also be also be utilised for household appliances. The devices are subject to UL/CUL/TUV/CCC/CB/CE approvals, and are offered with a 3 year warranty.
