Modules can be configured in a selection of four customisable iMP cases accepting input voltages from 85VAC to 264VAC or 120VDC to 350VDC. Cases can accommodate up to seven individual modules with a choice of outputs ranging from 2VDC to 60VDC — giving designers literally millions of combinations that meet appropriate agency requirements without further certification.
The supply’s I2C interface can be used to monitor voltage, current and temperature, and to program the output voltage, current limit and inhibit/enable signals. The series also features configurable input and output (case and module) OK signals and indicators and can be used to adjust the fan speed and monitor its fault status.
The iMP series has full medical EN60601 approval and is backwards-compatible with Astec’s MP series. It operates over the industrial temperature range of -40 to +70C.
