Rohde & Schwarz THU9 Transmitters Offer Even Higher Output Power At High Energy Efficiency
Rohde & Schwarz has enhanced its R&S THU9 transmitter family to deliver even higher maximum output power. The ATSC standard has been included to make the transmitters perfectly suited for the North-American market. The transmitters are available in the same power range as the inductive output tube transmitters currently used there.
12 Pulse Gate Firing Board For SCR Control Of High Power 100mm Thyristor Applications
Applied Power Systems is proud to announce the release of their BAP3012 next generation twelve pulse gate firing board which provides robust and reliable operation of parallel or series connected Silicon Controlled Rectifier bridges for high power phase-control and power conversion applications using up to 100mm devices.
Powerstax Announce ½U Format 500W Baseplate-Cooled Power Supply Units
Powerstax introduces the FAC series of baseplate-cooled power modules with a ultra-slim ½U height form factor. Featuring power factor correction, these compact (2.2cm x 17.5cm x 18.0cm) units can deliver a 500W output from an 85VAC to 264VAC input. They are offered in 12VDC, 15VDC, 24VDC, 28VDC and 48VDC output options, with custom voltages available.
Next-Generation Low Power Isolated DC-DC Converters From CUI
CUI has today announced the introduction its second generation of low power, board mount DC-DC converters with improved efficiency, isolation, and thermal performance compared to existing products. The unregulated DC-DC modules are available in 1 W and 2 W configurations, featuring 1.5 kVdc isolation and anti-static protection up to 8 kVdc.
Dual Output Sine Wave to Logic Converter Utilizes Selectable Input Filtering for Lowest Additive Jitter
Linear Technology Corporation introduces the LTC6957, a DC to 300MHz dual output buffer/driver/logic translator, ideal for converting sine waves into low phase noise logic level signals. Prior solutions were unable to perform this conversion without introducing a significant amount of jitter. The LTC6957 converts any DC to 300MHz reference frequency into dual LVPECL, LVDS or CMOS outputs with exceptionally low additive jitter of 45fsRMS (LVPECL) ...
Power Cord with Locking System for IEC Inlets
The Schaffner Group enhances its family of IEC Lock power cords with Japanese PSE approvals for existing IL13 family and introduces the new IL19 family for currents up to 16A. The power cord families IL with the patented locking system needs no change of existing IEC inlets or IEC inlet filters and locks without additional fixture in every standardized IEC inlet.
75 Watt Compact DC/DC Converter With Digital Interface
Calex announced two new models which have been added to the Calex 75 Watt WDE Series. Both housed in an industry standard 1/8 brick package (2.45 x 1.05 x 0.55H), the 24S5.15WDE features a wide 9 to 36 V DC input range with a 5 volt output at 15 amps.
Kepco Adds 1500 and 3000 Watt Models to KLM Series
Kepco is pleased to add 1500 and 3000 Watt models to its popular series of KLN automatic crossover, low-profile, high-performance, low-cost programmable power supplies. The KLN Series already offers stable d-c power in a 1U high, half-rack package for 750W.
XP Power Announce Compact Low Profile “Green” 225 W Power Supply
XP Power have introduced the ECP225 series of highly efficient low profile AC-DC power supplies. Delivering up to 150 W by convection cooling alone, the units deliver a maximum of 225 W when a forced air flow of only 10 CFM is applied. With a typical efficiency of 94% and a no-load power consumption of less than 0.5 Watt, the series helps engineers ensure their end product comply with the latest energy efficiency standards.
Emerson Network Power Unveil Compact Bulk Front-End Power Supplies
Emerson Network Power announce two ultra-compact AC-DC front-end power supplies that meet the 80 Plus Platinum standard for efficiency. Rated at 750 watts and 1100 watts continuous output, the power supplies share the same form factor, providing the scalability that system designers need for long life cycle applications where power requirements may change in the future.
