“The PW156 is a welcome addition to our external power line because it brings a new option for our customers in this popular power range,” says Nigel Davies, Managing Director of Europe for SL Power Electronics. “In addition to its versatility, the PW156 provides a highly reliable power supply that meets global safety standards and energy requirements at a time when the world is more focused than ever on conservation of energy and natural resources.”
As an Energy Star partner since 2005 under the Ault brand name, SL Power Electronics is committed to energy efficiency and compliance with global initiatives to ensure greater performance to meet the expectations of customers worldwide.
“It is important that SL Power contribute any way possible to the growing concern over energy consumption. This product has very low ‘no load consumption’ and higher efficiency, two key elements in new energy-saving initiatives,” says Davies.
By meeting Level IV Energy Star requirements, the Ault PW156 series meets international power supply efficiency standards, and complies with the mandatory California Energy Commission (CEC) Tier 2 standard.
The desktop-style Ault PW156 series satisfies a wide range of applications in the industrial, test and measurement, instrumentation, military/aerospace, communications and computer/peripheral market segments. This new product family is available in 12-, 15-, 18- and 24V standard models. SL Power Electronics also can modify any of the standard models to suit unique power or connectivity requirements.
The CE-compliant Ault PW156 meets UL60950-1, TUV/EN60950-1 and IEC60950-1 which reduces OEM time-to-market and ensures that the product can be sold worldwide. The PW56 sells for less than $29.00 in OEM quantities of 1000.
SL Power Electronics also can design 100 percent custom power solutions to meet specific OEM requirements and private label marking needs.
