Measuring 6.5 x 8.0 x 1.0 inch (165 x 203 x 25.4 mm) in size, the MW400S is a 400 watt converter with active AC Power Factor Correction and a built in EMI Filter. The unit accommodates a Universal single phase input from 90 – 265 Vac at 47-440 Hz. Line harmonics meet MIL-STD-1399 for 60Hz or 400Hz. Conducted EMI meets CE101 and CE102 of MIL-STD-461 without requiring any external filtering. The converter provides isolated 2Vdc, 3.3Vdc, 5Vdc, 12Vdc, 15Vdc, or 28Vdc outputs. Power Factor is 0.99 and efficiency is 82% at full load.
Standard features include remote turn on/off (TTL control), output voltage trim, overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, AC Good TTL signal, DC Good TTL Signal, fixed frequency (500-550kHz) conversion with synchronization input. These, along with full specified performance (no derating) over an operating temperature range of -40°C to +100°C from no load to full load, make the MW400S stand out in the mission critical market segment.
