20 amp DIN rail redundancy module

TRACO POWER is proud to announce the TIB-REM480 module that can be used for in N+1 redundant applications or to parallel two power supplies for additional power (1+1).

The TIB-REM480 utilises active sharing technology to minimise power losses during normal operation and in failover mode making it ideal for applications with stringent demands for operational safety or critical loads where downtime is not tolerated.

The TIB-REM480 redundancy module allows for two paralleled input sources and measures only 4.67 x 4.89 x 1.42”, making them ideal for low profile enclosures. Inputs are rated for an 11 ~ 56 VDC input range and up to 20 amps of current. Paralleled output current is rated up to 40 amps (60 amp peak less than 4 secs). Units can operate at ambient temperatures between –20°C and +60°C without derating or need for active cooling.

The TIB-REM480 has been specifically tested and safety approved to UL/IEC/EN 61010-1 for operation with TRACO POWER’s TIB line of 80 ~ 480 watt DIN-rail power supplies. These modules are cost effective solutions for industrial markets including process control, industrial automation, test and measurement, industrial robotics, mobility, and renewable energy.
