The new TVS diodes are designed to protect sensitive components against transient voltages in various electronic applications such as power management units and telecommunication circuits. Qualified with the rigorous AEC-Q101 standard, the new FlatPower TVS devices can be used for all automotive and industrial applications. Due to the very low leakage current of only 1nA (typical), the new PTVS series reduces energy consumption and facilitates its use in battery powered mobile applications. The very low height and small outline dimensions save PCB space and allow further miniaturisation of circuit designs.
The new 600W product family PTVS*P1UP offers 35 stand-off voltages from 3.3V to 64V. It extends NXP’s 400W TVS product family PTVS*S1UR that is housed in the even smaller FlatPower package SOD123W with an outline of 2.6 x 1.7 x 1.0 mm.
SOD128 and SOD123W are free of halogens and antimony oxides and comply with non-flammability classification UL94 V-0 and RoHS standards.
