knitter-switch Surface Mount Detect Switches are Robust and Tamper-Proof

One of Europe’s leading switch manufacturers knitter-switch announces a surface-mount detect switch that has been designed to satisfy a wide variety of applications where any kind of physical movement recognition is important. This includes use as a position switch for movable parts, door contacts, and detecting the presence or removal of a mechanical part in contact with the switch as well as security and alarm applications.

The new DTS 11 LCP 0.7 is a robust and reliable detect switch with an anti-tamper contact mechanism making it ideal for security applications. It features normally closed SPST momentary function contacts, requires a maximum operating force of 35gf and has a total travel of > 1.5mm.

The DTS 11 LCP 0.7 offers a lifetime of 100,000 cycles with load and an operating temperature range of -40ºC to +85 ºC.

Standard switches are available from a number of distributors throughout Europe. Samples are usually available on next day delivery. For more information visit www.knitter-switch.com
