The PBA piezo switch requires only 2 wires and can directly replace electromechanical switches with all the advantages of the APEM piezo technology, providing longer life in a sealed, washable, contemporary design. It is available in 7 standard colors.
Unlike most piezo switches with pulse-only outputs, APEM’s PBA C function mimics the behavior of a standard switch, so the longer the actuator is pressed, the longer the output response – up to 20 seconds.
The PBA piezo switch consumes no power, and uses no external power source, ground or power wires. The lack of electronic interface results in ease of use and expanded piezo technology application possibilities. In addition, the switch’s prolonged pulse reduces false activations or progressive gauge option.
