Dialight has unveiled its most energy efficient Class 1, Division 1 LED High Bay available to date. At 110lm/W and with Dialight’s 10 year performance warranty, the SafeSite LED fixture maximises return on investment, lowers TCO and improves safety. The SafeSite LED High Bay delivers up to 23,500lm, suiting a number of applications in oil, gas and petrochemical environments.

Featuring Dialight’s own power supply, next-gen LED technology and advanced optical design, the SafeSite LED fixture marks a major step forward in the future of energy efficiency for hazardous environments. The fixture is typically able to reduce energy consumption by more than 50%, according to Dialight. Where conventional HID (High-Intensity Discharge) systems average 460W, Dialight’s High Bay draws just 212W. The SafeSite LED High Bay’s 10-year full-performance warranty also offers a decade of reliable performance in the world’s harshest environments. In addition to maintenance savings, this improves facilities’ safety conditions by minimising the need for personnel to enter hazardous locations.

“At 110lm/W, we are proud to say Dialight offers the world’s most efficient LED High Bay for Class 1 Div. 1 hazardous locations,” commented Roy Burton, Chief Executive, Dialight Group. “Dialight continues to provide hazardous location markets with the most advanced and rugged LED fixtures available today.”

Weighing 30lbs, the 100-277VAC SafeSite LED High Bay is rated to operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -40 to +65°C and boasts a T5 temperature rating at 50°C. The highly efficient SafeSite High Bay ships standard with 6kV surge protection and is IP66/NEMA4X certified. The SafeSite High Bay is also available with custom in-house designed optics including medium and wide distribution types, with numerous flood light distribution options coming soon.
