British LED manufacturing experts Ecoled (the creators of the first online Light Builder tool) have engineered a LED fitting that combines the full performance functionality of a luminaire with the practicality of a bulb in a discreet, trimless fixture. The unique design allows the light to be easily extracted for a post-decorative fit or service; a solution that has not been previously made available until now.

Developed from Ecoled’s Eyeconic range of miniature and modular LED downlights, the plaster-in version of the Eyeconic Trimless allows the light engine, free of a spring clip, to be inserted or fully retracted from the front using Ecoled’s custom tool.

James Cadisch, Marketing Director at Ecoled, comments: “This is one of the smallest and most powerful luminaires on the market. Coupled with our latest innovation, the Eyeconic Trimless is not only elegant, but also practical.

“The simple extraction of the light module allows for simpler installation and maintenance of the fitting, providing easy access to the wires and drivers. The design completely eliminates the risk of damage to the eyeball of the light or the surrounding plastering.”

The Eyeconic Trimless is IP65 accredited, fire rated and offers full angle adjustment post-fit. The fitting is fully customisable, which means that it is available in a range of light outputs, light colours and finishes.

The ZEP 6 Eyeconic Trimless ball and socket extraction tool is protected under UK Patent No. GB2531664.
